Using a combination of Blackjack and Five Card Poker, Tequila Poker brings the best of both to this unique table game.
Using a deck of 52 cards, you are dealt an initial four cards, face-up. You then have the choice to play with a poker hand or a point total hand; i.e. the combined value of your four cards. Once you have made your choice a further two cards will be dealt, with the five best cards making your final hand. The sixth card will be discarded, and your highest possible hand will be displayed below your cards.
If you are playing your hand by the point total; known as High Tequila, your cards must total 46 or more to win. Any less is a losing hand. The Tequila Poker hand is made up of a regular poker hand; two pairs, three of a kind etc. The minimum hand to win is a pair of Aces.
Tequila Poker is an easy to understand, quick to learn card game played with a single, constantly shuffled deck of cards. The option of playing with a poker hand or a point total is a great element that will appeal to both Poker and Blackjack players.
