Some American gameshows do really well when a UK version is produced. ‘Wheel of Fortune’ and ‘The Price is Right’ have certainly been successful but ‘The Pyramid Game’ has always been more of a daytime or dawn chorus repeat show.
IGT had tremendous success with their 50,000 Pyramid slot so they’ve decided to put out a sequel. This time around it’s the 100,000 Pyramid slot game, that’s inflation for you I guess. It has a fair few similarities to the first game but the best thing about it of course is the jackpot is much larger.
This game has five-reels and a total of 15 paylines. That’s not a fixed amount so it’s up to you to determine your stake and the number of paylines you want to activate for each spin of the reels. Playing the game can cost between just £0.01 and £1500. There should be no problem at all finding a level you can comfortably play at.
Symbols in the game include a mystery 7, a symbol that has a silhouette of the contestants, a Celebrity Star, gold bars and the Ten to Ace poker cards that have been given a bit of a makeover to fit in with the theme. Each of them has a prize attached to them with the Ten having a camera, the Jack has a television, it’s a watch for the Queen, a holiday on the King symbol and the Ace has a posh car.
It’s the 100,000 Pyramid symbol that is the wild symbol in this game. It can substitute for other symbols to get you some wins out of nowhere. It can’t do that for the Winner’s Circle symbol which is the scatter symbol here.
All the information you need to know about the game can be found in the paytable and the game rules. Also have some free games because that will really enhance your knowledge of how this game runs.
To win the £100,000 jackpot you need to get five of the 100,000 Pyramid symbols on one payline. That may mean you’ll be really keen to activate all the paylines continuously but just be careful with your account balance.
Three or more scatters get you 5x your total bet, that goes up to 10x if four end up on the reels and five will see you awarded 15x your total bet.
It also gets you into the Winner’s Circle Bonus game. This sees you attempting to get to the top of the pyramid with a total of five picks. Additional picks are allowed if four or five scatters triggered the bonus round.
Once you have triggered this bonus round you start off with two free spins and a 1x multiplier. As you make your way up the pyramid there are more free spins and additional multipliers to be won. Some of the blocks have advance arrows making it quicker for you to make your way up the pyramid.
When you get to the top of the pyramid your total free spins and multiplier is calculated and this could be as high as 36 free spins and a 9x multiplier. Now it’s time to use up those free spins and hopefully get some good wins.
There’s not a fantastic amount of difference between this and its predecessor. The big change of course is the £100,000 jackpot and you’ll be dreaming of winning that. It’s still a highly entertaining game though and even if you can’t land the jackpot there are still lots of other prizes worth winning in the bonus round.
