Super Times Pay Hot Roll review

We’re all very much used these days to playing games that have five reels. With IGT they may sometimes look a bit different but that’s the main format that they and other slot designers use these days. However, it wasn’t always that way and those who are a little bit older will remember growing up playing one three-reel game after another. Well with ‘Hot Rolls Super Times’ IGT revisit the past with a game that has just three reels but a few modern day touches too.

This is a classic three-reel game that really reminds me of the ones that I used to play in days gone by. It recaptures the look of the classic game perfectly and it’s great to see the 7’s and bars back as the main symbols here. There’s a lot of flames in this game and at times it really is red hot action.

In all the game has a total of nine paylines. That’s not many compared to a lot of the games out there but that’s how it used to be. It was the move to five-reels that allowed more symbols and the higher number of paylines that we’re used to nowadays. Even with just nine paylines there are some good wins awaiting you in this game.

The big plus for players of this game is the multipliers that it contains. They are random in this game but they go from 2x to 5x. That means at any time you can get a winning combination and all of a sudden the random multiplier increases that win. Now that’s a feature that is definitely welcome at all times. They tend to come on a semi-regular basis so it’s well worth keeping on playing the game and waiting for them to make that unexpected appearance, though obviously the higher multipliers are less regular.

Even better is the fact that the multipliers are accumulative. That mean if you get two 5x multipliers on one spin then that’s 10x and although rare it’s something that will really get you smiling if and when it does happen.

Take a look through the paytable and game rules to really get used to how the game runs. Also have some free games and that will show you just how everything works, especially regards the multipliers and the bonus game.

Bonus Game

There’s one bonus game here which is the Hot Roll Bonus. No you don’t get given a present from the bakery but you can win some excellent prizes here. To trigger it you need to get three of the scatter symbols and when that happens you’re presented with a pair of die which you have to roll. The result of that throw will award you a certain number of credits which can be as high as 400 if you can get a two (two ones) or 12 (a pair of sixes). Other awards are made for the other possible scores and your aim is to avoid getting a 7. Now the two sides of each dice will equal that total so it is a likely score. When you get it that ends the round but if you just happen to get it on the first roll you still win a cash prize but the round comes to a quick end.

There may be only three reels and just nine paylines but there’s a lot packed into this game. It’s good to see the 7s and bars making a return and the multipliers in this game can really build up some good wins. The same can be said for the bonus round which isn’t of the free spins variety for a change. This game can be played on your PC and mobile devices so you can play it whenever and wherever you want.
