Our heads are all full of trivia you know. We don’t know how it happens but while we probably can’t remember where we put our car keys, telling someone who played a certain character in a 1980s TV show comes to mind instantly. ‘Trivial Pursuit‘ is one of those games that is perfect for those of us who love knowing lots of otherwise worthless information and now Fremantle Media have brought us the slots version. This is played on a 6×3 grid and there are 15 winning lines. The minimum stake per line is £0.02 and the top stake per line is £25 so if you so desire the maximum gamble per spin is £375. If you can afford to lose that then go right ahead but if you can’t then just choose a stake you are comfortable with, or else stick to free games.
The symbols in this game include Jack to Ace but a bit of work has been put in here and they are inside a Trivial Pursuit playing piece. More related to the game are symbols that refer to the individual categories that drive us all mad when playing. There’s also a Trivial Pursuit logo, a roll again dice, a question mark and the playing piece that we’re so keen to fill with wedges. The soundtrack is similar to a lot of sounds you’ll hear on all those games you play in the arcade. As there are a few bonus features in this game, it’s really important to take a good look through the paytable. This tells you exactly how you can get into the bonus games and how to play them and the returns on the various winning combnations. Have a few free games too because that will get you used to playing the ‘Trivial Pursuit’ slots game before you start putting your account balance at risk.
This game is full of bonus features and they can earn you some really good wins. As you play the game you look for one of the wedges to appear. This gets transferred into the bonus meter situated at the top left of the screen. Once you’ve collected all six wedges that gets you into what can be a highly profitable bonus round. A new screen appears and there’s a great graphic of trivial pursuit players. You have six trivia questions to answer, each with three possible answers, not that we get to see them. All we do is pick 1,2,or 3. Then the answer comes up and if our pick has the right answer then a cash prize is awarded. Even if you get a question wrong you still have to answer all six questions and you can get some good wins here. There’s also a gamble feature, here you have to decide if a friend will get the next question right or wrong. If you make the right choice you double your winnings, if you’re wrong you win nothing. Scatter symbols can multiply your winnings, three multiply it by 5x, four 20x, five 50x and six a whopping 200x. You can also earn yourself a free spin if the roll again dice appears on the reels at the end of a spin.
This is another enjoyable game from Fremantle Media. There are plenty of bonus rounds available and although it’d be good to actually answer a few questions yourself, it’s still entertaining to play.
