Take Me Out review

Developed by Fremantle Media, this is a video slots game of the popular Paddy McGuinness Saturday night dating show, ‘Take Me Out‘. Even if you’re not a fan of the show you should make a date to be playing this on your PC or mobile devices. This is a five reel, 20 line slots game with a minimum stake per line of £0.01 and a maximum one of £25. That means if you choose all the 20 lines to be active on a spin then you’ll need to wager £500. A really hefty amount so only decide to gamble that if you can afford to lose it. The bonus rounds in this slots game aren’t too complicated but a glance through the paytable is still a good idea. A few free games is also advisable to get you into the swing of playing the game. It’s a bit like preparing yourself for a date really. The symbols in the game are a mixture of the 10- Ace cards though they do have a silhouette accompanying them, a pair of lips, Cupid’s arrow, male and female symbols, a wild symbol, the Bring on the Girls logo, the silhouette of a presenter in the spotlight and Fernando’s cocktails.

The graphics in this game are really impressive and fit in well with the theme of the game. When you get into the bonus rounds the introductory graphics and soundtrack are really stunning. The general soundtrack is pretty good too and definitely won’t have you heading for the mute button. There’s no problems at all in playing this game. All the control buttons are down the bottom of the screen, enabling you to set your stake and the number of lines you want to play. There’s an auto spin button that allows up to 25 automatic spins of the reels plus a Bet Max button if you do want to go the whole hog and gamble £500 on a spin.

Bonus Features

There are several bonus features in this game and all entertaining to play and with the chance of winning some great cash prizes. The Fernando Free Spins feature is triggered when you get at least three of the Fernando scatter symbols. You receive 10 free spins and there are some Wild 2x symbols added to the reels. It’s possible to re-trigger the free spins if you can again get three scatter symbols. At the end of the free spins round the Congratulations screen comes up and your account is credited with your win. Three or more of the Bring on the Girls bonus scatter symbols anywhere on the reels gets you into the Bring on the Girls bonus game.

This is a Pick Me style game and begins with a video from the TV show of the girls entering the TV studio. You then see five girls standing behind their podium and your task is simply to choose one. Once you’ve made your decision the others leave and we’re shown a video of the girl that has been chosen. Then for the really good bit because we find out just how high or low a bonus we’ve received for choosing her. You can really win some big prizes in this round. The final bonus round is the No Lighty No Likey Ladder, to trigger this you need three of the No Lighty No Likey symbols anywhere on the reels after a spin and this starts the bonus game. This time you have to choose one of the male contestants alleged charms to impress the girl and if you manage to do that then you can go onto the next one. If it doesn’t work then you lose a charm and in all you have three chances to win each prize.

The excellent graphics in this game really add to the pleasure of playing it. The theme is well adhered to even if we don’t get to hear the glorious tones of Paddy McGuinness. The bonus games are well presented and this is a thoroughly enjoyable game to play.
